But Snapchat is threatening our ability to communicate freely and effectively with people around us when we meet them in person, just like many other social media platforms. This makes a F2F communication between buddies and their potential love partners a bit awkward.

Also, Individuals can have fake confidence when hiding behind their Snapchat filters.

Relationships ruin so quickly on this social media platform. Snapchat has a feature like best friend and streak can create awkward feelings between people. Instead of having word face to face and get to know about the person, now you are obsessing over trying to locate where you are on their best friend list and try to peek at them via snap map.

This also leads to hurting the relationship of individuals who communicate outside Snapchat too. Let’s understand this with the help of an example, suppose you went on a date and she’s busy on her phone and more interested in herself than you. OR maybe a family dinner where one can be most enlightened, but, all the F2F communication is just in the background as we are busy with our phones and making streaks to share them with our best friends.

People no longer having real conversations and real relationships with the individuals around them, it is due to Snapchat is more immediate and exciting in some or the other ways; But, all that does is isolate people, causing them to feel lonelier and less satisfied.

In my opinion, we should uninstall the Snapchat app, because they're just really isn’t much good that comes from trying to live your life for other individuals and maintain streaks instead of interacting with those sitting beside you.
